Octavo, edition unstated, pp. (xvi), 344, blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine and a gilt shield on the front, frontis engraving of St. Martin's Lane in 1820, bottom edge untrimmed. Chapters cover historic taverns, hotels, various streets, King's Mews, Hungerford Market, Trafalgar Square -- this is more of a history than a travel guide, but traveler's would enjoy it. Boards rubbed at extremities with chips at head and tail of spine. Leaves clean and tight, age-toned. Over all very good. Price:
