1 MACMICHAEL, J. Holden Charing Cross and Its Immediate Neighborhood
very good
MACMICHAEL, J. HOLDEN. Charing Cross and Its Immediate Neighborhood, London: Chatto & Windus, 1906. Octavo, edition unstated, pp. (xvi), 344, blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine and a gilt shield on the front, frontis engraving of St. Martin's Lane in 1820, bottom edge untrimmed. Chapters cover historic taverns, hotels, various streets, King's Mews, Hungerford Market, Trafalgar Square -- this is more of a history than a travel guide, but traveler's would enjoy it.
