Wharton and Parrish hit the high spots of Italian landscape architecture, but Wharton notes that the principles at work there can and should be applied to the gardens of non-aristocrats. Condition of this book: Boards worn, rubbed, with a few surface tears. Leaves clean, no foxing, although the front endpages are darkened with a penciled note on the ffep, images fine.
