Gibson's advertisement for his book "Drawings," published by R.H. Russell & Son in 1894. The book is scarce and highly collectible, the poster is beyond scarce. Gibson's most famous creation was the Gibson Girl, who became part of the American vocabulary as a synonym for the ideal woman. Condition of this print: Tear has been repaired by a professional conservator; edges restored. Crease mark down center, inoffensive. A few minor ink squiggles in upper right area. Image is fine, overall very attractive.
