Vernacular photos by a G.I. identified only as "Casper," most locations unknown, World War II era. About 5x4 inches or 13x10cm, gelatin silver prints, an unusual mix of subject matter highlighted by a casual shot of Franklin D. Roosevelt in a muddy Jeep being driven by a corporal, with the president saluting an unidentified officer. Other images show planes and plane wreckage, destroyers in port (postwar), and G.I.'s at ease. Condition of these prints: Very good and clear, little deterioration of the images.
