Large, oblong stack of 218 leaves contained by carved hardwood boards, the whole measuring 24x8x4.5 inches or 71x20x12cm, four leaves illuminated with paintings of deities, the rest a manuscript presentation of Buddhist life lessons. Each of the boards is decorated at one end with carvings of Buddhas, and the calligraphy is written along red rules, some of the text being in red also.
